We are very sorry but Sawtooth Transportation is not providing vehicle shuttles at this time.  Due to unforeseen circumstances with our property in Stanley, we do not have the capacity to provide shuttles in summer 2008.  However, we are able to do van charters.  Contact us for more information.  In most cases, a van charter would be less expensive that a car shuttle.

If you choose to drive your own vehicle to your put-in, we provide a river shuttle service to deliver your vehicle for you.  We will safely transport your vehicle from where you leave it to where you need it.  You can enjoy your vacation and know that your vehicle will be waiting for you when you get off the river.  We hire only experienced and conscientious shuttle drivers so you'll have no worries while on the river.  We have worked in the shuttle business in Stanley for many years and know what the customer wants out of a shuttle service.  We strive to provide the best service of any shuttle company operating along Idaho's rivers.  If you are out to see Idaho on foot, we provide vehicle shuttles for backpackers and hikers also.  We will shuttle your vehicle from the trailhead to the trail's end. 

For those of you who do not wish to have your vehicle driven on the rough river roads, we can transport your vehicle on our car trailer or we may be able to provide a combination service where we will pick your vehicle up at the put-in and park it in our lot in Stanley.  At the end of your trip, we can arrange to pick you up and bring you back to your vehicle in Stanley.  If you would like this type of service, you will need to make arrangements with us well in advance.

Select the Shuttle Rates link below to see our shuttle routes and fees.  Keep in mind that we are not necessarily limited to the routes listed.  If you don't see your desired origination or destination, ask us and we will do our best to accommodate you.  If you are ready to set up a shuttle, select the Shuttle Agreement link below.  Complete the agreement, print it, and mail to us with your shuttle fee.  Please be sure to provide details regarding your keys.  Indicate where you will leave them when the vehicle is ready for us to pick up and where you would like us to leave them when we deliver the vehicle.  You may also send a key in the mail with your agreement and fee.  Just be sure to use a padded envelope so everything gets to us in one piece.  Also remember to leave cash with us or in the vehicle that will cover the cost of fuel and any other expenses we may incur while transporting your vehicle (re. tire repair, new battery, etc.).
